Too many potential adventurers are missing out on the very best of Britain. The mountains of Wales, Scotland and England have a totally new character in winter, yet to most they seem off limits when coated with snow. This however is when the hills are at their most beautiful; a wonderland of snow and ice, free from crowds, as wild and challenging as anything you’ll find in the Alps or Pyrenees. A winter weekend with Fitways’ qualified mountain guides could completely change your life!

We can tailor weekends to your specifications; whether you want to learn the skills necessary to travel in the mountains in winter, would like to experience classic, familiar routes in a new way, or want to take on a hardcore challenge, Fitways can devise a bespoke solution in any range in the UK.

Testimonials:
“Thank you so much team Fitways for such a great weekend in the hills. We couldn’t have wished for better conditions or tuition. I already can’t wait to get back into the snowy hills again!”

What’s next

After just a single day of winter hill walking, people often become hooked. If you decide this activity is for you then why not attend one of our Winter Skills Courses. You’ll quickly learn all the skills you need to venture out on your own in full winter conditions. If you fancy trying something a little more challenging you could always sign up to one of our fully organised mountain challenges such as the Winter 3 Peaks.
